The SPB02 thin film pressure sensor is a membrane switch triggered by pressure, which exhibits a decrease in resistance with an increase in the force applied to the active surface. Its force sensitivity is optimized for use in small household appliances, smart home door locks, lamps and other products with human touch control of electronic devices.
The size, shape, range and other parameters of this membrane pressure switch can be customized. The circuit uses pull-up or pull-down resistors to achieve high-low level signal conversion, and can be directly connected to the main chip GPIO or INT pin input for use.
Mainly used as press control applications
SPB02 is designed and developed specifically for control switches. It have advantage such as low cost, lightweight, high temperature resistant, fast response time, long lifespans, and low power consumption. It is in high resistance state when no force is applied. As the pressure increases and reaches the threshold pressure, the switch on-resistance is at the ohm level.
