The propane sensor module MMD1011T uses an oxide semiconductor sensor. When a trace amount of alkane gas appears in the air, the conductivity of the sensing material will increase. The change in conductivity related with the target gas concentration. By measure the magnitude of the change in conductivity, the sensor can sense the degree of gas leakage in the air. For example, when the indoor target gas molecules contact the sensor, the sensor can produce a conductivity change. After through a simple single-chip microcomputer and firmware control, the device can be intelligently trigged an alarm, and the exhaust ventilation equipment can be started at the same time.
